Hi, I am Jingyi Wang

I’m so glad you stopped by! My name is Jingyi, the owner and photographer behind Jingyi Meyers Photography. I am from China and now live in St. Louis, Missouri with my husband and 2 kiddos. They are my inspiration and the reason I got into photography. I have been obsessed with everything photography since my daughter was 6 months old. After a lot of encouragement from family and friends, I decided to start taking photos for others. I didn’t realize how passionate I would be until I did it a few times. The best part is getting to know clients, while also having a great time capturing their special moments. I shoot a mix of natural light and studio light photography.

Beautiful, Natural, Emotive. This is how I want to live my life and how I want to capture your family in natural lighting. I find beauty in the everyday chaos that is family, not in the perceived perfection. You will notice from my portfolio that I focus on connection, emotion, light, precious details, and visual storytelling in my work rather than specific poses or props. When I started shooting with studio lighting, I discovered that there is something so special about setting up a beautiful backdrop, dressing up in an elegant outfit and sitting nicely under the perfect strobe light. This allows me to capture your memories in a Classic, Authentic, and Delicate way.
