What's the difference between lifestyle and documentary sessions?
Documentary photographs are ones that are taken without ANY input or direction from the photographer. Imagine that the photographer is simply like a fly on the wall, observing the scene and photographing the activity as it unfolds.
Lifestyle photography, on other hand, is a style of photography where the photographer captures an everyday scene but does guide or direct it SOMEWHAT, perhaps by purposefully setting up the activity or guiding the action to a place where the light suits their vision, or where the composition is improved.
Do you provide clothes or props for clients?
Once the client has booked a session and made the deposit payment, the client will receive a session guide with styling guidelines.
Simple props such as headbands, wooden toys, bubbles, etc will be provided for studio sessions.
I always encourage clients to bring their own favorite and meaningful props for their session.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all of your photos within 2.5 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season). You can download all of the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
Each package includes a set number of images that the clients will receive. Additional images are available for purchase. The rate is $20 per image for lifestyle and documentary sessions; $30 per image for studio sessions. I always choose quality rather than quantity and I will choose the best and most significant photos to tell your story.
Do you shoot other types not listed in the packages?
